This is an entry-level learnership at Capitec. They’re not expecting experience — they’re looking for potential.
You’ll mainly be:
- Welcoming clients in the branch
- Managing queues and client flow
- Helping clients use ATMs and self-service banking
- Assisting with basic transactions (guided)
- Learning how banking works from the ground up
It’s basically a foot-in-the-door banking role that can lead to a Service Consultant position later.
Who Capitec is looking for
You’re a good fit if most of these apply to you:
You have Grade 12
You’re comfortable talking to people (or willing to learn)
You’re patient, friendly, and professional
You can use a computer (Word, Excel, Outlook — even basic level)
You’re eager to learn and grow in banking
You don’t mind standing, assisting clients, and being front-facing
You do not need banking experience
You do not need a degree
Retail, customer service, cashier, call centre, or hospitality experience = bonus, not required.
Location note (important)
Although it shows Johannesburg, the title says Limpopo / Mpumalanga — this usually means:
- You’ll be placed in a branch in those provinces
- You should be willing to work there or already live nearby
