Internship Opportunity – Chartfield Guesthouse
Location: Kalk Bay, Cape Town
Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension by mutual agreement)
Chartfield Guesthouse is situated in the charming fishing village of Kalk Bay, just 30 minutes from Cape Town City Centre. We offer a dynamic and hands-on internship opportunity for individuals eager to gain practical experience in the hospitality industry.
This internship provides exposure to various operational departments within the guesthouse. Depending on workload and operational needs, interns will be involved in the following areas:
Key Responsibilities
- Reception and Guest Services
- Breakfast Service (Food & Beverage Service)
- Mise en place preparation
- Responding to emails and guest correspondence
- Housekeeping duties (Laundry and Room Checks)
- Reservations management
- Online marketing activities
- Coordinating and assisting with conference operations
- Assisting with special projects
- Room and apartment inspections
This internship runs for a full six-month period. A contract extension may be considered based on performance and operational requirements.
