Job Description
Free State Oil is seeking motivated candidates who have completed Matric and are interested in gaining practical experience in the Grain Handling industry.
The Grain Handling Learner will undergo structured workplace training to develop both practical skills and theoretical knowledge in:
- Grain receiving
- Grain handling and storage
- Quality control procedures
- Hygiene and food safety standards
- Workplace health and safety compliance
Learners will work closely with operational staff while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Theoretical learning integrated with practical training
- Performing scheduled daily cleaning tasks
- Cleaning processing equipment and production lines to required standards
- Assisting with sample testing to ensure compliance
- Deep cleaning of production areas
- Conducting post-cleaning inspections to ensure all tasks are properly completed
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Able to read, write, and understand English
- Must be unemployed
- Age between 18 – 32 years
