Introduction
Our client is seeking a motivated individual to be trained across multiple machines within a service centre environment. The successful candidate will begin with packing and expediting duties during the initial training period, before progressing to machine operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical mindset who is eager to learn and grow within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform duties according to established working instructions
- Assist with packing and expediting during the training phase
- Train on and operate various machines within the service centre
- Act as a stand-in operator on machines once fully trained
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
Machines Included in Training

Training will be provided on the following equipment:
- Laser Machine
- Press Brake
- Rolling Machine
- Messer Profile Machine
- Forklift
- Overhead Crane
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Technical background (preferred over purely academic background)
- Previous industry knowledge advantageous
- Ability to read a tape measure and use measuring equipment
- Computer literate
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors
- Strong teamwork skills
- Must comply with all health and safety rules and regulations
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Must have own transport or reliable means to travel to and from work
Working Hours
- 2nd Shift: 14:30 – 22:30
- Monday to Friday
