About the Better Champion Learnership
The Better Champion role focuses on delivering excellent branch-level customer service while gaining structured workplace training.
Purpose of the Role
As a Better Champion, you will:
- Welcome and assist clients in the branch
- Manage queues efficiently
- Help clients use ATMs and digital/self-service banking channels
- Support customers with remote banking solutions
- Deliver outstanding service aligned with Capitec’s values
This programme provides practical workplace exposure and prepares candidates for future roles such as Service Consultant.
Minimum Requirements
Experience
Minimum:
- No previous work experience required
- Must have a Grade 12 National Certificate
Ideal:
- Some customer service experience (retail, financial, or banking sector)
Qualifications
- Grade 12 National Certificate
OR - National Certificate (Vocational)
Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Minimum:
- Basic calculation/numeracy skills
- Confidence in engaging with people
