Job Description
Life as an ACS Broker
As a Cargo Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in connecting customers with tailored air cargo charter solutions. This is a fast-paced, sales-driven position that requires commercial awareness, resilience, and strong relationship-building skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and developing a list of potential customers through research (database, websites, LinkedIn, trade press)
- Proactively targeting prospects through outbound sales calls, emails, and meetings (virtual and face-to-face)
- Converting prospects into long-term ACS customers
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Cargo Operators to ensure access to a wide range of aircraft
- Maintaining customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- Working toward and exceeding sales targets to meet financial objectives
- Demonstrating expert understanding of aircraft types and the chartering process
- Managing charter bookings from initial enquiry through to completion
- Handling inbound requests for urgent charters (sometimes outside standard office hours)
- Preparing and presenting bespoke, commercially sound quotations
- Overseeing flight departures and monitoring flights (may require unsociable hours)
