Job Title: Code 10 Driver with PDP
Location: Nelspruit, Mpumalanga
Reporting To: Operations
Job Purpose
To safely operate a Code 10 vehicle for the transportation of personnel, materials, and equipment, while ensuring full compliance with road traffic legislation, company policies, and site-specific safety requirements.
Minimum Qualifications & Training Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
- Construction / Industrial Safety Induction
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years’ proven driving experience with Code 10 vehicles
- Previous experience in construction, industrial, logistics, or shutdown environments
Duties & Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Operate vehicles in compliance with the National Road Traffic Act, company policies, and site rules
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete inspection checklists prior to use
- Ensure all loads are secure and legally compliant before transportation
- Report accidents, incidents, or vehicle defects immediately to the Supervisor
Operational Responsibilities
- Safely transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from designated locations
- Plan and follow efficient routes while adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery notes, and vehicle documentation
Vehicle Care & Housekeeping
- Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and well maintained
- Adhere to fuel management and parking procedures

Package & Remuneration
- R42.00 per hour
