Engineering Apprentice – What does your future role entail?

As an Engineering Apprentice in our Engineering Department at Givaudan, based in our Tulisa Park office, you will provide essential administrative support to the Engineering and Maintenance teams.

Core Responsibilities:

• Initiating Purchase Requisitions (PR) through SRM and SAP, and tracking Purchase Orders (PO).
• Creating job cards upon request, closing them, and reporting any discrepancies noted on the job cards.
• Organizing and digitizing documents through filing and scanning.
• Updating various spreadsheets as needed.
• Managing contractors by issuing permits and ensuring the work area remains orderly.
• Assisting in obtaining quotes from suppliers when necessary.
• Supporting task execution in designated Engineering or Maintenance areas.
• Maintaining and updating records of drawings, manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other information storage systems.
• Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and generating reports upon request.
• Planning and scheduling repair and maintenance work across the site.
• Participating in failure analysis to identify root causes of equipment failures and suggesting design improvements.
• Assisting in the development of a continuous work schedule to maintain all company property, ensuring safe and healthy working conditions for all employees.
