
Introduction
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Internal Sales Clerk to take full responsibility for managing a dedicated sales desk. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient sales administration, accurate order processing, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, send, and follow up on customer quotations
- Handle telephonic sales enquiries and customer queries
- Capture and manage accurate sales orders on the SAGE ERP system
- Maintain and update customer account information on the ERP system
- Perform telesales to existing and potential new customers to promote and increase sales
- Liaise closely with production, warehouse, and distribution teams to ensure accurate dispatch and timely delivery of orders
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Essential)
- Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively
