INTERNAL SALES CLERK

Introduction

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Internal Sales Clerk to take full responsibility for managing a dedicated sales desk. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient sales administration, accurate order processing, and excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, send, and follow up on customer quotations
  • Handle telephonic sales enquiries and customer queries
  • Capture and manage accurate sales orders on the SAGE ERP system
  • Maintain and update customer account information on the ERP system
  • Perform telesales to existing and potential new customers to promote and increase sales
  • Liaise closely with production, warehouse, and distribution teams to ensure accurate dispatch and timely delivery of orders

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Essential)
  • Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively
