Description
The individual selected for this position will serve as a Cashier in Box Office Sales, Catering Sales, Collections, as well as fulfilling roles such as Cinema Assistant, Waiter, Poppers, or any other cinema-related duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Maintain current knowledge of the products offered by Ster-Kinekor, along with promotional and marketing initiatives, to effectively upsell to guests.
- Ensure compliance with presentation standards, including the display of age restrictions, updating synopsis files, and maintaining neat and current posters, as well as Food & Beverage and product displays, with visible disclaimers.
- Prepare popcorn, slush, and other items in accordance with established quality standards, reporting any deviations from these standards.
- Assist in the preparation of shifts in designated areas as needed.
- Uphold the quality and integrity of Ster-Kinekor products to guarantee an uncompromised guest experience.
- Maintain a presentable appearance at all times.
- Conduct oneself as a professional representative of SKT, as actions reflect the company’s reputation.
- Ensure cleanliness in the kitchen, all kitchen equipment, and surrounding areas, including counter spaces.
- Adhere to standards for storerooms, ensuring fumigation occurs as necessary.
- Properly seal, package, and store prepared products.
- Submit all Health & Safety reports according to the required timelines.
- Follow uniform and preparation standards consistently to ensure personal safety and that of others.
Requirements
- Matriculation certificate.
- Experience and Knowledge:
- 0 to 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with VISTA is advantageous.
