About the Role
Job Purpose
This is a local learnership position based in Brits, reporting directly to the Production Foreman. As a Production Learner, you will be responsible for adhering to safety regulations and quality standards while learning how to assemble tyres within targeted cycle times during the learnership programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments on production equipment
- Wear and maintain all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain 3S standards in the work area
- Ensure all machine controls are in proper working condition
- Remove empty spools, trolleys, and rolls from machines
- Return empty materials to the component section
- Move viewed raw covers into designated storage bays
- Supply solutions to machines as required
- Work effectively as part of a production team
- Achieve production targets within the programme scope
Qualifications & Experience Required
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or N3 Certificate
- Mathematics (Pure Mathematics) and/or Physical Science
