About the Learnership
As a Production Learner, you will report to the Production Foreman and receive structured, hands-on training in a tyre manufacturing environment. The programme is designed to equip unemployed youth with practical production skills and workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities
During the programme, learners will:
- Conduct basic risk assessments on production equipment
- Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain 3S standards in the work area
- Check machine controls for proper operation
- Remove empty spools, trolleys, and rolls from machines
- Return empty materials to the component section
- Move raw covers into designated storage bays
- Supply required solutions to machines
- Work effectively within a production team
- Meet production targets within learnership scope

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or N3 Certificate
- Pure Mathematics and/or Physical Science
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
