
Receptionist
Role Description
The Receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming calls, and providing professional administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls efficiently
- Ensure the reception area is neat, organised, and presentable at all times
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
- Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, data capturing, and scheduling
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and issue access badges where required
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support to internal departments

- High attention to detail and professionalism
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Computer literacy (MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel)
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Age: 18–28 years
- Higher Certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional appearance with a positive, proactive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Currently unemployed
- Must not have previously completed a YES Programme
