Role Description

The Receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming calls, and providing professional administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls efficiently
  • Ensure the reception area is neat, organised, and presentable at all times
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
  • Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, data capturing, and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and issue access badges where required
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support to internal departments

  • Computer literacy (MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel)

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Age: 18–28 years
  • Higher Certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional appearance with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Currently unemployed
  • Must not have previously completed a YES Programme
