Entry Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

Option 1: Grade 12 / Matric

  • Mathematics (NOT Mathematical Literacy) – Minimum 40%

Programme Type: Engineering Learnership (Artisan Development)

This programme offers the perfect combination of theoretical learning and on-the-job practical experience, giving learners the chance to build industry-ready skills while working alongside experienced engineering professionals.

Entry Requirements

Option 2: N3 Certificate or Higher

With subjects relevant to the specific discipline:

Boilermaker/Plater:

  • Plating & Structural Steelwork / Welders Theory
  • Plating, Structural & Steelwork Drawings

Electrical:

  • Electrical Trade Theory / Electrotechnology / Electrotechnics
  • Industrial Electronics or Engineering Drawings

Option 3: NCV Level 4

  • All subjects passed with minimum 40% in a trade-relevant field

This programme is ideal for young individuals with a passion for engineering, mining operations, and artisan development.
