
Workshop Administrator Intern
Duties & Responsibilities
The Workshop Administrator Intern will support the efficient and smooth operation of the workshop by providing administrative assistance, managing bookings, and supporting daily workshop activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling and managing workshop bookings
- Maintain accurate records of appointments and client interactions
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the workshop team
- Handle incoming calls and emails related to workshop operations
- Assist with filing, data capturing, and general office administration
- Ensure the workshop area is well-organized and administrative systems are kept up to date

- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to work under supervision while also taking initiative
- Professional, positive, and eager-to-learn attitude
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Age between 18 – 28 years
- Currently studying towards or recently completed a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or another Technical Qualification (advantageous)
- Interest in workshop administration and operational processes
- Currently unemployed
- Must not have previously participated in a YES Programme
