A vacancy for learnerships through the Government-incentivised YES Programme is available within a manufacturing plant in the South of Johannesburg.
The programme runs for 12 months, where learners will:
- Work Monday to Friday
- Attend classes on selected Fridays

About the YES Programme

The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a business-led initiative working with government and companies to combat youth unemployment in South Africa.
The programme provides previously disadvantaged youth (ages 18–35) with 12 months of workplace experience, giving them an opportunity to:
- Gain practical work exposure
- Build a credible CV
- Receive a reference letter
- Complete 21 work-readiness modules
- Strengthen employability and confidence
Upon starting the programme, learners will receive a smartphone preloaded with the YES App (no data required) to complete required activities.
Who Qualifies?
- African, Coloured & Indian youth
- Age 18 – 35 years
- South African citizen
- Unemployed
- Grade 12 (Matric)

- Maintenance
- S.H.E (Safety, Health & Environment)
Benefits

- Minimum stipend of R4 992.00 per month for 12 months

What’s Expected From You
- Commitment to complete the full 12-month programme
- Willingness to learn and gain practical experience
- Positive and professional attitude
- Sign a Fixed-Term Contract (valid until 28 February 2027)
- Be punctual and adhere to working hours
- Report absenteeism to your supervisor/manager
- Provide valid proof when absent (e.g., doctor’s note)
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Attend all required training sessions
